We are a working with a Housing Association in Bath who are dedicated to maintaining and improving the quality of our homes for tenants. Their Damp and Mould Team is at the forefront of tackling property issues, ensuring their residents live in safe and healthy environments.
The Role:
We are seeking a hands-on and reliable General Operative to join our Damp and Mould Team on a 4-month contract. In this role, you will support skilled trade operatives in addressing damp and mould issues, ensuring properties are cleaned, treated, and restored efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist trade operatives with the cleaning and treatment of damp and mould in properties.
- Prepare and organize materials, tools, and equipment needed for remedial work.
- Ensure areas are cleaned and ready for further treatments or inspections.
- Handle waste disposal in line with health and safety guidelines.
- Provide general support to the Damp and Mould Team to facilitate effective service delivery.
- Physically fit and capable of manual handling tasks.
- Health and safety conscious, with a strong focus on maintaining safe working practices.
- A team player, with a proactive and can-do attitude.
- Flexible and reliable, able to adapt to the needs of the team.
