We are working exclusively with a growing consumer products brand that supplies to leading retailers in the UK and globally.

They are looking for a Finance Manager with operational experience within a product-based business, to play a key role in supporting the company’s growth and driving financial and operational efficiency. You will oversee key areas, including inventory management, and financial processes, while working closely with the CEO to improve systems, streamline operations, and maximise cashflow and profitability.

You will have worked for a consumer products brand and will have experience finance (and ideally operations) - a proactive mindset, and strong organisational skills. This role requires a collaborative, hands-on approach and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Key responsibilities in this role include:

  • Overseeing all financial aspects, including accounts payable (AP) and receivable (AR), cash flow management, and generating reports.
  • Collaborating with external bookkeepers and overseeing payroll, employee hours, and leave tracking.
  • Managing the day-to-day operations of order processing, inventory management, and logistics.
  • Supervising and supporting your administrator on order fulfilment across all sales channels.
  • Overseeing order management for key accounts and coordinating with 3PL warehouses to manage inventory and arrange shipments.
  • Analysing inventory reports to optimise stock levels and avoid out-of-stock situations.
  • Managing supplier relationships and negotiating costs to improve profitability.
  • •racking incoming inventory from Asia and Europe and assistant with freight arrangements.
  • Providing administrative support to sales and marketing teams, including setting up vendor accounts and creating customer databases.

Skills and experience required:

  • 5+ years relevant experience
  • Demonstratable experience in finance within a wholesale environment.
  • Proficiency with Xero.
  • Excellent systems experience ideally with experience of implementing new software.
  • Exceptional analytical, organisational, and project management skills.
  • A proactive, solutions-focused approach with a strong commercial mindset.
  • Experience in international logistics, inventory management, and supplier negotiations would be beneficial.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
