Your new roleWe are looking to recruit a commercially minded individual for this client to lead on the production of timely income accounts for month end and year end

  • Responsible for ensuring delivery of the accounts receivable element of monthly management accounts including variance analysis.
  • Supporting the preparation of year-end accounts.
  • Responsible for ensuring all queries and complaints relating to accounts receivable are dealt with in a timely manner including identifying patterns and trends and taking action to rectify.
  • Involvement in new projects to ensure team capacity and capability is appropriate to deal with any changes and make any necessary recommendations.
  • To be fully conversant with all processes to include understanding the prime objectives of such processes and the interdepartmental relationships required to achieve best practice.
  • Implementing controls, policies and procedures within the AR function and wider Finance team and ensuring that these are adhere to.
  • Develop the links between Accounts receivable and the Head of Operations looking for efficiencies and business opportunities.

What you'll need to succeed

  • GCSEs and A-Levels.
  • Demonstrable experience of working within a finance team in a similar environment with minimal supervision
  • Experience of process review and redesign with demonstrable improvements having been achieved
  • AAT or studying for Financial qualifications
  • Have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Advanced IT and Excel skills and confident with large volumes of data.
  • Comfortable and experienced with working with different stakeholders.
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • A positive attitude and forward-thinking.
