The Role:
In this position, you will be responsible for conducting electrically biased maintenance on production machinery. The role involves both planned and reactive maintenance across the facility, with engineers actively contributing to the setup of weekly PPMs and project-based installation work.
The primary focus will be front-line electrical maintenance, so experience in a fast-paced, high-pressure maintenance environment is essential. The site is semi-automated, utilizing a combination of PLCs. While experience with fault finding on PLCs is desirable, it is not required, as you will receive training to enhance your skills in both PLC and SCADA systems.
As a detail-oriented and skilled Electrical Maintenance Engineer, you will be well-organized, capable of managing competing priorities, and thrive under pressure, working to tight deadlines on a rotating shift pattern.
The Candidate:
- Background in electrical maintenance, with a strong bias toward electrical systems
- Completed an electrical apprenticeship or holds equivalent qualifications
- Solid electrical skills with the ability to fault-find on inverters, motors, drives, and similar equipment
- Experience with PLC fault finding is ideal; we are looking for someone eager to develop their skills in this area
