We deliver innovative, award-winning services to the public and private sectors and our mission is to make people and places the best they can be.This role sits within our Private Sector FM business division that provides catering, cleaning, hard services, pest control, and security services to a wide range of prestigious clients, within the Venues market.About The Role:Job description:An opportunity has arisen for a Maintenance Technician to join our organisation on a full time, permanent basis.

The role will be to carry out Small Projects, Planned Preventative Maintenance and Reactive Activities in accordance with our contractual agreements. To be considered for this role, you must have experience in Carpentry and Plumbing, as the role will involve both duties.

You will be working Monday to Friday, 08:00 to 16:00, 35 hours per week.

If successful in this role, you will receive a £500 joining bonus!

Duties of the role:

  • To support the delivery of small projects across the site.
  • To carry out planned and reactive maintenance in accordance with the company's PPM and task schedules to meet contractual needs.
  • Always carry out the works requested in a professional and proactive manner
  • To communicate clearly and effectively with other members of the team and managers.
  • Attending team meetings/briefings as requested (and courses as required to suit business needs)
  • Work to strict Health and Safety Procedures and Protocols including Permit to Work/Safe Systems of Work.
  • To escalate any major site issues or incidents to your line manager asap once noticed.
  • To assist in the management of Integral sub-contractors whilst working on site
  • Be flexible in your working day to adapt and overcome issues in a busy regional shopping centre.
  • To work as part of a team across all hard services disciplines and be flexible to your daily tasks.
  • Painting Decorating Internal and External as and when required to support workload of the team.

Qualifications/ Training needed:

  • Health & Safety awareness is necessary.
  • Good understanding of Fabric/Building Maintenance in line with SFG20
  • IPAF/PASMA as an advantage
  • Emergency First Aid at Work
  • A City & Guilds (or equivalent) qualification in either plumbing or carpentry
