We are looking for those actors and drama graduates in creative industries willing to
to work within education settings. Hanson Recruitment are a temporary agency, and
we are looking for Drama graduates and actors who would like to work in schools as
Teaching assistants. We work with a large number of schools, ranging from
Mainstream Primary schools to Special Educational Needs that cater for all ages that
look for Teaching assistants who might come from Drama or acting background. We
are able to offer temporary work during school hours 0830-1530 term-time only.
Payments will be weekly, and the rates will range from £85-£100 dependent on
experience, qualifications and competence.
We are open to consider Drama graduate candidates from a variety of backgrounds
and availabilities to suit each school and pupil needs. These roles can suit any of the
following individuals:
- Drama Graduates that are looking for part-time work
- Actors looking to fill in the gaps in between auditions
- Drama students who like to work with children
- Drama Graduates that can create a fun and engaging learning environment
- Drama graduates that would like to go into Education
- Actors or Drama graduates looking to go into Drama therapy
- Actors and/or Drama Graduates looking to work in a fun, fulfilling job with
flexibility but also the possibility to earn regularly
Qualifications & attributes:
? A nurturing, positive and empathetic nature
? Good organisational and communication skills
? Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
? Ability to receive and follow instruction by the school, teachers and other
education professionals.
? Willingness to accept to support academic work.
? Excellent interpersonal skills and caring attitude towards pupils with
additional needs
