Our client, a well-established solicitors firm in East Somerset, is seeking an experienced Residential Property Locum Solicitor for a short-term contract, starting ASAP until end of March 2025. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled legal professional to provide their expertise and support the firm's commitment to delivering high-quality legal services.

The Residential Property Locum Solicitor will undertake a range of residential conveyancing matters, including sales and purchases of freehold and leasehold properties. This role is crucial in ensuring clients receive expert legal advice and support throughout their property transactions.

• Handle various residential conveyancing matters efficiently and effectively

• Provide expert legal advice to clients on property transactions

• Draft and review legal documents related to conveyancing

• Communicate regularly with clients, agents, and other parties involved

• Ensure compliance with legal requirements and regulations

• Qualified Solicitor, Legal Executive, or equivalent experience

• Minimum of 5 years' experience in residential conveyancing

• Strong knowledge of property law and conveyancing processes

• Excellent communication and client-facing skills

• Ability to work on-site in an office environment

• Proficiency in managing files and working independently

• Immediately available for several months

• Competitive hourly rate of £40 - £50 per hour
