Your new companyYou will be joining a dynamic Bath based and prestigious institution, dedicated to advancing research and education. The organisation is committed to providing exceptional support to its students and staff, fostering an environment of innovation and excellence.Your new roleYou will be expected to support your departmental team with the following duties:

  • Recruitment and Admissions: Manage publicity, handle enquiries, process applications, and coordinate interviews and open days.
  • MRes and PhD Support: Coordinate training, administer courses, manage coursework and records, and support examination processes.
  • Support to CDT Directors: Manage meetings, handle queries, and maintain statistics for reports.
  • Financial Administration: Monitor budgets, administer accounts, and provide financial data for reports and funding applications.
  • Project Coordination: Arrange and support meetings, issue agendas and minutes, and participate in reviews.
  • Notes: Be able to take efficient notes/minutes during meetings
  • Other duties: Perform reception duties and liaise with external partners.

What you'll need to succeed

  • Strong organisational and administrative skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Experience in a similar role, preferably within an academic or research environment.
  • Proficiency in using administrative and financial software.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
