Overview:We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Locum Occupational Therapist to join the Social Care Occupational Therapy team at a local authority in Bath. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about supporting individuals within the community and providing essential services to those in need.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct moving and handling risk assessments in the home environment.
  • Carry out comprehensive occupational therapy assessments to determine clients' needs.
  • Complete housing report assessments to provide recommendations for home adaptations.
  • Work collaboratively with other health and social care professionals to ensure the best outcomes for clients.
  • Provide clear and concise reports on assessments and interventions.
  • Offer advice and guidance to individuals and their families regarding strategies for improving daily living activities.

Skills and Experience Required:

  • HCPC registered Occupational Therapist.
  • Experience in social care, particularly in home assessments and risk evaluations.
  • Strong understanding of moving and handling assessments and techniques.
  • Ability to manage a caseload and meet deadlines.
