Are you a proactive Occupational Therapist with a keen eye for detail? We are seeking a Band 6 Locum Occupational Therapist to join our team in Bath for an exciting 3-month project.

Role Overview:

You will be working on a focused project to review all bed rails that have been issued to patients, ensuring compliance with safety standards and optimal patient care. This role is critical to enhancing safety and maintaining high-quality service delivery.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough reviews of all bed rails issued to patients.
  • Assess safety, suitability, and compliance of equipment in patients' homes or care settings.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and care teams to ensure understanding and address concerns.
  • Maintain accurate records and provide clear documentation of findings and recommendations.
Requirements:
  • HCPC Registration as an Occupational Therapist.
  • Previous experience in equipment assessments and/or reviewing equipment in a healthcare setting.
  • A full, valid UK driving license and access to your own transport.
  • Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
