- Conduct thorough surveys of properties to identify the causes of damp and mould.
- Assess the severity of issues and recommend appropriate remedial actions.
- Work closely with tenants, offering advice and guidance to manage damp and mould effectively.
- Liaise with contractors and internal teams to ensure remedial works are scheduled and completed efficiently.
- Maintain accurate records and prepare detailed reports on findings and recommendations.
- Proven experience in damp and mould surveying, ideally in a housing environment.
- Strong knowledge of building construction and moisture-related issues.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage sensitively with tenants.
- A proactive and solution-oriented approach to problem-solving.
- Relevant qualifications (e.g., RICS, CIH, or equivalent) are desirable but not essential.
