Job Title: Quality InspectorSalary: £35,000Location: Bath, SomersetHours: 39 hours per week, Monday to FridayContract: PermanentThe Role:We are seeking a Quality Inspector to join our Final Inspection and Quality Control team at our precision engineering facility in Bath. This role involves conducting detailed inspections of manufactured components, ensuring they meet customer specifications and AS9100 Quality Management System standards.Key Responsibilities:* Perform dimensional inspections of precision-engineered parts* Conduct visual checks for damage and imperfections* Record findings, create non-conformance reports, and correct form where required* Work to customer and internal specifications* Ensure all quality documentation and records are completed accurately* Manually dressing parts where minor imperfections are reworkable* Training for designated quality representative responsibilities (once certified)Skills/Experience required:* Experience in an inspection role (aerospace experience is a plus)* Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications* Strong attention to detail and ability to spot defects* Familiarity with inspection and test equipment* Ability to work both independently and within a teamSalary/Benefits with role:* Competitive Pay & Bonuses* Enhanced Stakeholder Pension* Private Family Healthcare* Cycle to Work Scheme* 25 Days Holiday (flexible hourly allowance)* Life Assurance CoverImportant Information:Visa Sponsorship: Unfortunately, our client are unable to offer sponsorship for this role.
