Finance Business Partner job in Bath
Your new role
Duties and responsibilities will include:
- Assisting in the preparation of annual financial statements, management accounts with the explanation of variances.
- Monitor the departments' actual spend and income in the year against budgets and production of quarterly reports
- Generating financial forecasts throughout the year
- To provide analysis on departmental performance
- Assist in annual planning
- Work closely with the Finance Managers and others to develop information sharing
What you'll need to succeed
The successful candidate will be a qualified accountant with experience working as a Management Accountant in a complex organisation. Additionally, you will have:
- Experience of preparing internal financial reports to a prescribed timetable.
- Experience of working with financial and information systems.
- Excellent interpersonal skills in order to effectively communicate complex financial information to a range of staff.
- Ability to plan effectively, particularly in periods with parallel/conflicting priorities.
- Ability to develop good working relationships with colleagues.
