Reed is representing a leading institution in Bath in their search for an Assistant Hospitality Manager. This pivotal role involves overseeing the daily management of one or two catering outlets, catering to a diverse clientele including students, staff, and external guests, particularly during the busy summer months.
Day-to-day of the role:- Oversee the daily operations of the catering outlets, ensuring efficient service and customer satisfaction.
- Manage and lead teams, ensuring staff are motivated, well-trained, and deliver high-quality service.
- Adapt and respond effectively to varying operational hours and customer needs between term time and summer months.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, licensing laws, and policies.
- Coordinate with different teams to manage functions and events smoothly.
- Proven experience in front of house hospitality management.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and train staff.
- Knowledge of relevant health and safety regulations, licensing laws, and reporting procedures.
- Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage a busy and pressurised environment.
- Flexibility to work varying shifts including early mornings, evenings, and some weekends as required by events.
- No split shifts.
