Thrive Trowbridge are delighted to be working with our Bath based client who seek a Payroll/Accounts Assistant on an 18 month FTC basis.
What you will be doing:
In this pivotal role within the finance team, your duties will include the following :
Key Responsibilities :
- Processing payroll in a timely manner for each pay period
- Inputting, maintaining and updating employee records
- Review of salary information for new employees / contract amendments
- Processing overtime and expense claims / payroll deductions
- Preparing the payroll BACs file for authorisation
- Assisting with month end / year end procedures
- Dealing with payroll queries from employees
- Payroll reporting for management
- Additional assistance with sales and purchase ledger duties
What you will need to succeed:
- A proven track record within payroll is essential
- Other accounts experience also required - sales and purchase ledger as well as reconciliations
- The ability to work under pressure with ever changing deadlines
- Excellent IT skills including MS Office (word/outlook and excel) and SharePoint
- First rate communication skills at all levels including a confidential approach
What you will receive in return :
- Salary to 31,762pa DOE
- 18 month Fixed Term Contract
- Monday to Friday 37 hours per week
