Independent Living Advisor

Rocasa Consulting are looking for an Independent Living Advisor to join a large houisng association in the Bath area. This position includes providing housing management to customersaged over 55 years old who are living in Sheltered Housing.

Working 30 hours per week (9am-3pm - Monday - Friday)

A drivers licence is essential for this role as travel between three seperate sites is necessary.

More about the role:

- Play a key role in continuously developing the service to meet the needs of tenants.

- Effectively deliver service improvements.

- Provide technical assistance to individuals in regads to housing and support

- Develop rapport with customers living on site.

- Support customers day-to-day with tenancy management, ensuring customers fully understand their rights and responsibilties per their tenancy agreements.

- Assist prospective customers to view properties and answer any questions that may arise.

- Ensure new customers are settled and happy in their new accommodation.

- Provide advice / assistancein regard to housing benefit and other financial advice to pay rent / services charges.

- Complete referrals for assistive technology, aids and adaptions in order to aid independence.

- Carry out periodic checks and test ensure Healthy and Safety regulations are met at all times (fire doors, alarms etc).

About you:

- Do you have experience working in advisory role with the elderly or vulnerable adults?

- Do you have administration experience?

- Good verbal and written communication.

- Drivers licence with access to own vehicle.
