We are looking for a Social and Emotional Support Worker to join a mainstream school with a dedicated SEN provision in Bath. This long-term supply role offers a rewarding opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of students who require additional support.
Key details:
- Location: Bath
- Key Stages: 1 and 2
- Contract: Long-term supply
- Start Date: ASAP, pending vetting
- Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM - 3:30 PM
The Role:
- Provide one-to-one and small group social and emotional support to students within the SEN provision
- Help students develop coping strategies, improve confidence, and engage positively in their learning
- Work closely with teachers and support staff to implement tailored intervention plans
- Play a key role in the education and training of students with additional needs
What We Are Looking For:
- Experience working with students with SEN or SEMH needs in a school or similar setting
- A calm, patient, and empathetic approach to supporting students
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build positive relationships
- A commitment to ongoing education and training to support students effectively
