Approved Mental Health Professional AMHP - day-time agency post

Our client, Bath & North East Somerset Council, is seeking an AMHP – are you interested? Or can you refer a friend for £250 if placed?

This is a full-time day time role although flexibility on working hours can be given to the right candidate.

The role will involve the following:

• To meet the duties as set out in the Mental Health Act (1983) and associated legislation by providing a statutory Approved Mental Health Professional service across Bath and North East Somerset, focusing on protection, prevention, and safeguarding, to improve outcomes and quality of life and for individuals and families.
• This includes collaborating closely with and providing a multi-agency liaison role across Heath and Social Care, Emergency Services, Private Providers and the Voluntary Sector.

Requirements of the role:

• Qualified Social Worker
• Fully Social Work England registered
• Must be a qualified Approved Mental Health Professional with post-qualified experience practicing as an AMHP
