A driving license and access to a vehicle is essential for this role along with having immediate availability.
Requirements for this Benefits Advisor role:
- Working closely with customers and support benefits applications at local Job Centres, including spending time on-site at the centres.
- Solid knowledge of asessing Universal Credit claims, welfare and disability benefits and being able to handle the entire process and administration.
- Developing strong relationships with external stakeholders such as Local Authorities, charities, support providers and the DWP.
- Ensure customers are rent payment ready, post assessment, and working with them to address any potential arrears that may be caused by the transition to Universal Credit.
Job Details for this Benefits Advisor role:
- Salary of 28,819 and 900 car allowance
- 26 days annual leave plus bank holidays
