A lovely Primary school in Bath, with a new SEN provision, is looking for a SEN Teaching Assistant to join their welcoming team. This role offers a chance to develop experience supporting children with additional learning needs. Previous experience working with SEN children is desirable, but not essential.
In this SEN Teaching Assistant role, you will provide support to children in the classroom, helping them access the curriculum, build confidence, and develop social and emotional skills. You will work alongside a supportive team to help children with mental health challenges, challenging behaviours, and learning disabilities, such as Autism. Each day will be different, and the children will benefit from your passion, creativity, and care.
This Primary school in Bath is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistant who is eager to make a real difference. Ideally, you will have excellent behaviour management skills and a desire to build strong, trusting relationships with the students. Some form of restraint training (e.g., Team Teach) is desirable but not essential.
