We are working closely with an industry leading, and multi-disciplined Health and Safety Consultancy who are now seeking to take on a Health & Safety / Fire Risk Assessor in the South West region. You will be covering a mixed portfolio of longstanding client sites, undertaking Health & Safety / Fire Risk Assessments in line with client / company needs ensuring to complete in-depth reports in a timely manner upon completion of risk assessment. This role would suit a candidate who is looking to join a forward thinking and continuously growing company where they can expand professional qualifications.

Consideration will be given to candidates from: Bristol, Trowbridge, Chippenham, Malbrough, Devizes, Shepton Mallet, Weston-Super-Mare, Minehead, Bridgewater, Taunton, Cheltenham, Stroud, Cirencester, Gloucester, Swindon.

Experience & Qualifications:
" At a minimum, will hold a Level 3 fire qualification
" Holding an industry recognised qualification such as NEBOSH general would be beneficial to the role.
" Will have extensive experience working for an established provider of Health and Safety / Fire Safety services.
" Excellent knowledge of relevant PAS79 guidelines.
" Excellent IT skills.
" Good communication skills.
" Able to manage time efficiently, working to client / company timeframes.


The Role:
" Attending a mixed portfolio of sites carrying out type 1 / 3 Fire Risk Assessments on communal areas.
" Undertaking general Health and Safety Assessments.
" Undertaking compartmentation surveys
" Providing training to new and existing employees and clients when required.
" Carrying out quality checking on Health and Safety / Fire reports.
" Creating in-depth Health & Safety / Fire Risk Assessment reports.
" Creating and providing advice on exit strategies.
" Regularly reviewing system processes and Health and Safety practices, ensuring they are up to date and accurate.
" Liaising with clients, providing excellent technical support and advice.
" Working in line with up-to-date relevant PAS79 guidelines.
