As a Sales Administrator, you will play a vital role in handling sales enquiries, preparing quotations, and ensuring efficient sales administration. Your excellent communication skills and ability to work to strict deadlines will be highly valued.
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
Sales:
- Respond promptly to sales enquiries via calls and emails, ensuring all actions are followed up diligently.
- Prepare quotations in accordance with company pricing structures.
- Undertake sales administration tasks such as raising purchase orders and filing documents.
- Liaise with transport partners to schedule collections and deliveries.
Customer Service:
- Manage customer accounts to ensure high levels of satisfaction.
- Resolve issues and complaints in a timely and efficient manner, involving other departments when necessary.
- Assist in generating data reports on a weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis.
- Regularly check data accuracy in orders and invoices.
Systems & Procedures:
- Accurately record and update customer interactions and account information in company systems.
- Maintain and update sales and customer records.
- Handle sensitive and confidential information in accordance with company policies.
- Adhere to the principles of GDPR when processing personal data.
What Do You Need To Be Successful?
- Computer literate with proficiency in Microsoft Office and Office 365.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to work to strict deadlines.
- Outstanding communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Previous sales administration experience, preferably within the waste industry.
- Familiarity with business-to-business settings is advantageous.
- A valid driving licence is required.
