We are looking for an experienced Head Chef to join our team at the Hilcroft Hotel in West Lothian. Ideally located for commuting from Edinburgh or Glasgow the Hotel has 32 bedrooms, a fantastic Restaurant & busy Event space.
You will be responsible for menu development and have a genuine passion for serving the highest quality food to our customers. You should be enthusiastic about what you do whilst maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness, safety and compliance with hygiene regulations.
Skills / Qualities required:
- Experience in menu planning & cost control
- In-depth knowledge of food safety and hygiene regulations.
- Flexible and committed
- Passion for food quality
- Team Player
- The ability to adapt to different situations
- Relevant knowledge of food and drink
- Ability to work within wage budgets
- Good communication skills
- Attention to detail
- Good personal hygiene & appearance
