A successful residential childcare worker will be responsible for:
- Implement behavioural management techniques and promote positive social skills.
- Maintain records of the children progress and behaviour.
- Advocate for the children needs and rights.
- Organise activities to promote socialisation.
- Ensure a safe and clean residential environment.
To be successful in your residential childcare worker application, you will:
- Have previous 6 months prior experience in the UK working in a residential setting with young people aged below 16 years
- Have flexibility in the roles undertaken
- Have strong communication skills
- Register under the PVG scheme
- Full driving license(Preferred)
- Obtained, or working towards SVQ level 3 in Health and Social Care, or equivalent desirable
