Position - Site Manager & Assistant Site Manager

Urbanlife is a well-established Irish based construction development company who have expanded their works portfolio to include the UK with numerous projects currently under construction along with others at planning stages.

We are currently seeking a Site Manager and Assistant Site Manager for a residential development in Bathgate in Scotland with a project duration of 3 years.

The ideal candidate should have experience in bringing residential projects from a green field site to completion and have a general knowledge of all aspects of house building.


Roles and responsibilities for Site Manager include but are not limited to:

Responsible for the day to day running of site and liaising with the Irish senior management team

Ensuring all program deadlines and targets are being achieved

Ensuring that all health and safety regulations are being adhered to

Oversee quality control and safety measures on site

Supervise and co-ordinate all direct staff and sub-contractors on site

Co-ordinate with the QS to ensure adequate materials on site for the individual tasks


Roles and Responsibilities for Assistant Site Manager

Assisting in managing all trades in order to ensure that programmes are met and that work is carried out to the required standards

Assisting in ensuring all quality and safety inspections are completed within the required standards

Assisting in ensuring compliance of site workforce, sub-contractors and all visitors with the Company Health and Safety policy

Carrying out any other relevant duties as required by the Site Manager or Construction Manager and when required to deputise for the Site Manager
