Process Operator

PROCESS OPERATOR – CONTROL ROOM / EXTRUDER ROLE

SHIFT ROTATION:

MONDAY - WENDESDAY NIGHTS: 3 x 12 HOUR SHIFTS

AND

MONDAY - WEDNESDAY DAYS: 3 x 12 HOUR SHIFTS & THURSDAY DAYS: 1 X 8 HOUR SHIFT

PAY RATE: £13.50 PER HOUR

People Solutions are currently recruiting for a Process Operator to join our client's manufacturing site based near Bathgate.

This role offers full-time hours on a long-term basis with the opportunity to grow and progress within a well-established team.

Day to Day Duties

Working as a Process Operator for our client your duties will be:

• Operating and monitoring machinery in the control room and extrusion area
• Running pellets and ensuring product quality
• Using computer systems for monitoring and set-up
• Maintaining a clean and safe working environment

Essential Skills

Skills needed to be a Process Operator with our client are:

• Good attention to detail and ability to follow processes
• Basic PC literacy
• Willingness to learn and take on new challenges
• Reliable and committed approach to work

Desirable Experience

Desirable experience needed to be a Process Operator with our client is:

• Previous manufacturing or machine operating experience (not essential)
• Experience working shifts or in a production environment

Training

• Full on-the-job training will be provided to the successful candidate
