Your new companyOur client is a significant national housebuilder with a large pipeline of work ahead of them over the next few years across Edinburgh and its surrounds. With plans to grow their business, they are seeking to appoint a Quantity Surveyor to their commercial team. With a very steady team and with a very progressive approach to work-life balance, this role will appeal to an experienced Quantity Surveyor seeking a sustainable career with business management who sets realistic expectations and has a mature approach to management.Your new roleAs Quantity Surveyor, you will be experienced at taking commercial ownership of multiple residential projects across the East of Scotland. These projects could be HA or private, and you will be running projects at multiple stages. Supported by your commercial lead, you will have full responsibility for the commercial performance of these projects. This will involve running your own CVRs , processing payments, managing procurement and resolving any commercial problems onsiteWhat you'll need to succeedThe ideal candidate would be an experienced-degree qualified Quantity Surveyor with experience within the residential development market in Scotland.
