Red Recruitment is recruiting an Assurance Expert who wants to broaden and develop their skills in a new assurance team whilst supporting a growing not-for-profit insurance business.

Our client is a private healthcare provider with over 100 years of putting their customers first. With business growing, they are looking to expand and enhance their internal audit, risk and compliance capabilities with a dedicated team.

The salary for this position is 43,000 - 48,000 per annum, depending on experience.

Key Responsibilities of an Assurance Expert:

Planning and executing audits in line with the assurance plan
Supporting wider risk and compliance assurance processes
Monitoring business progress against identified audit issues
Providing business support to maintain effective internal controls and supporting in risk and capital analysis and reporting
Reporting to the Head of Internal Audit

Key Skills and Experience of an Assurance Expert:

You should be a qualified member of a professional accounting or auditing body with a minimum of 3 years of audit experience
If you do not hold the Certified Internal Auditor accreditation with the Chartered Institute of Internal Auditors, you will be supported to achieve this
You should be able to understand and evaluate business risks, preferably with experience of regulated financial services firms
You should be a team player with an organised and clear approach
A friendly and professional manner is required
