Red Recruitment is recruiting a Retention Consultant in Taunton to join a not for profit private healthcare provider, who is the Which? 'Recommended Provider' for private medical insurance.

The ideal candidate will play a key role in supporting the business in achieving market-leading retention rates and should be confident in building rapport.

The salary is 26,117 per annum.

Key Responsibilities of a Retention Consultant:

  • Contacting customers who are in the process of cancelling their cover and where applicable discuss their cancellation and potentially re-instate cover
  • Helping customers discuss their renewal options, including amending their products
  • Reviewing and contacting direct customers prior to their renewal to offer support
  • Establishing relationships with intermediaries to support them with their renewal/retention-based queries

Key Skills and Experience of a Retention Consultant:

  • You should be passionate about helping other and wanting to find a resolution
  • Being confident in building rapport over the telephone and via email is required
  • Ideally you will be interested in entering a career in Business Development
  • You must be able to establish and maintain relationships and enjoy working in a team environment
  • Having a key eye for detail is required
