Your new company
Working for an established and successful law firm based around the South West.
This role will be at their Taunton office and covering all HR across their offices.
The role is full time permanent, Monday - Friday standard office hours. 9AM - 5PM.
This role is a lone standing role within HR.

Your new role
This role will be integral to enhancing employee engagement, drive retention and showcase why our client is great to work for. Provide advice and coaching to people managers to improve their capability and ensure performance/misconduct issues are managed effectively and consistently.
Provide guidance around questions related to employment; including benefits, payroll, onboarding, policies, compliance.
Build effective relationships with all people managers so that they see you as a partner who supports them in effectively managing and developing their people
Take the lead on the annual employee engagement survey, analysing the data and presenting key trends to the business
Lead on HR related projects and partner with internal stakeholders to achieve results
Continuously monitor and review employment law changes to ensure HR policies, procedures and guidelines are updated.nvite and promote constructive and ongoing feedback
Foster a positive work culture promoting diversity, inclusion and wellbeing.

What you'll need to succeed
A collaborative style with the ability to influence others into action and to think creatively about solutions
Ability to communicate confidently, succinctly and logically both verbal and in writing
A passion to win and natural desire to support your colleagues
Self-motivated team player with ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
CIPD Level 5 or relevant experience would be a benefit - not essential
Strong employment law knowledge
