As a temporary caretaker, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety, cleanliness and maintenance of the school premises and grounds. You will also assist with setting up and clearing away equipment for school events, activities and exams. As a caretaker, you will work closely with the school staff and follow their instructions and policies. I have a role currently working split shifts which are temporary, ongoing and could lead to permanent.
To be eligible for this role, you will need to have:A valid DBS check or be willing to apply for oneA good level of physical fitness and manual dexterityA basic knowledge of health and safety regulations and proceduresA friendly, reliable and flexible attitudeA willingness to learn new skills and take on new challengesYou will also benefit from having:Previous experience as a caretaker or in a similar role or in a school environmentHappy to do split shifts, 6.30am - 9.30am, then 3pm - 6pm OR potentially full time without the split shifts.A relevant qualification or training in caretaking, maintenance or facilities managementWe offer competitive rates of pay, flexible hours and a variety of assignments across different schools in West Yorkshire.
