Class 2 night driver in Birstall - Temp to Perm placement.
Salary: £16.50 per hour (breaks paid)
Recruit A Driver are recruiting for a Temp to Perm, Class 2 night driver to drive for our Birstall based client.
About the role
As a Recruit A Driver HGV Driver for our client, you will expect:
- To drive Class 2 refrigerated vehicles
- To carry out the safe unloading of vehicles at customer premises
- To deliver leading coffee chain store products across either the North East and or York and Leeds region. The products will be packed into cages and delivered into stores.
- To be tech savvy, using hand held terminals when making the deliveries.
- To ensure that the delivery vehicles are always maintained to Company standards, of reporting of any defects to the vehicle.
- Ensures vehicles are in safe condition, with daily checks correctly completed before use, & are operated in a safe manner.
What you need to know:
- Working times: 16.00pm - 18.00pm start times
- Shift pattern: Working on a 4 on 4 off rota
What you must have:
- Must hold a valid Class 2 UK license for a minimum of 12 months.
- Must have experience driving a Class 2 vehiclewithin the last six months, ideally 12 months.
- Must have no more than 6 points on license for minoroffences.
- Must hold an in date Digital Tachograph Card.
- Must have an up-to-date CPC Qualification Card.
