Reception Teacher

We are seeking an enthusiastic educator to join a welcoming community junior and infant school in Batley from Easter 2025.

This is an exciting opportunity for an EYFS specialist to provide high-quality early years education in a supportive and nurturing environment. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in shaping young learners early experiences and helping them develop a love for learning.

• Plan and deliver engaging and creative EYFS lessons in line with the national curriculum.

• Foster a nurturing and stimulating learning environment that supports childrens development.

• Assess, track, and report on childrens progress, ensuring individual needs are met.

• Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and carers to support childrens learning journey.

• Promote positive behaviour and emotional well-being among students.

• Contribute to the wider school community and participate in school events.

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.

• Experience teaching in EYFS, particularly Reception class.

• Strong understanding of child development and early learning strategies.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• A caring, patient, and enthusiastic approach to teaching.

• A commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment.

• A clear enahcne DBS disclosure (or willingness to obtain one).
