Randstad Education is assisting a Primary school in Batley in recruiting a full-time Early Years Teaching Assistant. The role will start in January 2025 and end in July 2025. For the right candidate, it could become a permanent role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the early years educators in planning and delivering engaging and age-appropriate learning activities.
  • Provide individualized support to children with diverse learning needs, ensuring that all children can fully participate in classroom activities.
  • Foster a safe, nurturing, and inclusive learning environment where children feel valued and supported.
  • Collaborate effectively with the early years team to assess children's progress and implement targeted interventions where necessary.
  • Support children with personal care tasks such as toileting and dressing, in accordance with safeguarding guidelines.
  • Establish positive relationships with parents and caregivers, providing regular feedback on children's progress and development.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working with young children, preferably in an early years setting.
  • Relevant qualifications such as CACHE Level 2 or 3 in Childcare and Education, or equivalent.
