We are currently seeking a Production Operative to join our client's dynamic team in the food manufacturing industry. As a Production Operative, you will play a vital role in ensuring the efficient operation of the production line and maintaining the highest standards of food production and safety. This is a temporary position with the opportunity for permanent employment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operating machinery and equipment to meet production targets and quality standards.
  • Adhering to strict food safety regulations and following standard operating procedures.
  • Performing manual handling tasks, including lifting and moving ingredients and finished products.
  • Working on flexible shifts, including evenings, nights, and weekends, to accommodate the needs of the production schedule.
  • Maintaining a keen attention to detail to spot any issues or defects in the production process.

Key Skills and Experience:

  • Previous experience in a similar role within a food manufacturing environment is preferred.
  • Knowledge of food safety regulations is preferred.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
  • Willingness to work flexible shifts and overtime when required.
