Search Consultancy are delighted to be supporting a SME business in Batley in their search for a Finance Manager. This is an exciting role, working closely with the operations director, where you'll have the chance to make a real impact and grow with the company. This is a stand alone role.
This is a varied role that involves day-to-day bookkeeping, including managing accruals, prepayments, WIP, capitalisation, depreciation and VAT reporting. You will be responsible for the bank reconciliations and cost analysis as well as the credit control. You will manage payroll using Sage Payroll, PAYE & NI reporting and ensure accurate financial records and reporting in SAP. Alongside this you will prepare and review fin statements and reports and support the Director with budgeting, forecasting and financial analysis.
To be considered for this role you will have:
- Experience with SAP Business One and Sage Payroll
- A strong understanding of bookkeeping and financial reporting
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- A proactive attitude with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Relevant qualifications (AAT or ACA, ACCA, CIMA Part Qualified) or equivalent experience in practice or industry
What's on offer:

Hours: Monday to Thursday 8:30am - 5:00pm, Friday 8:30am - 2:30pm
