Excellent opportunity to join a leading manufacturing company as a Senior Warehouse Operative/Supervisor to manage goods in activity and stock control. The role will be based in Batley.
Responsibilities
- Conduct physical and regular audits and inspections with the Warehouse Manager to assess the accuracy and integrity of inventory records and identify opportunities for improvement
- To manage goods in and book incoming deliveries
- Supporting the Warehouse Manager with Inventory Management, Monthly stock reports for Finance, Delivery Notes, Stock Tracking, Transport Planning / Booking, Goods In records etc.
- Perform data entry tasks, and prepare reports
- Perform daily check of goods received to organise stock intake and track where goods are stored.
- Assist the Warehouse Manager with loading of vehicles when necessary
- Provide cover for the Warehouse Manager when necessary to ensure the warehouse remains fully operational (holiday cover etc)
Person Specification
- IT Literate able to use Windows and other computer packages
- Background in warehousing, ideally with knowledge of goods in and stock control
- Self-motivated and a team player
