We are recruiting on behalf of our Client, a UK-based Manufacturer of equipment in the textile industry for a Service Engineer.
The role is Mon-Fri Days OnlyÂ
Hours Mon - Thurs 8 am-5.30 pm, Friday - 8 am-12 pm
Wage is Negotiable Dependant on Experience
The role is very diverse and involves a mix of site visits as well as working within the production facility based in Leeds.Â
Job Responsibilities
- Deliver Service activities (which include: installation commissioning, customer training, repairs, preventative maintenance services, calibration services, and remote technical support by phone and e-mail to achieve satisfied customers.)
- Installation and service of textile manufacturing equipment.
- Assist the design department in product development projects.
- Ensure the highest professional relationship with our customer base to achieve customer loyalty and ensure that issues are resolved in the fastest way possible.
- Be responsible for reporting accurately and promptly, all activities as required (e.g. Service Reports, Expense Reports, etc.)
Requirements
- A Valid Driving License is Essential for this role
- Mechanical and Electrically Qualified is Desirable but will consider Time Served/Experience in a similar role
- The ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Strong problem-solving skills
