Retail Events Coordinator
I'm recruiting for my Client who are a well known Charitable organisation based in Batley to join their Retail Events and Festivals Team.

This role requires someone who comes from a strong Retail background, who will love to attend events and festivals and form part of the Team from sorting products, loading products, setting up pop up shops and helping to organise Volunteers.
The role is very varied and extremely rewarding!
You will have the opportunity to attend and contribute your services at the Events and Festivals they attend each year and help show case their products at the popup shops.
From well known music festivals, to Universities and Horse Shows you will be part of helping the Charity to maximise the sales of the donated products they receive.
The journey begins with sorting through the items, helping to identify which items are suitable for each event, getting them priced up and ready to display off-site.
You will assist with the vetting of Volunteers who attend the events forming an invaluable part of the Team, ensuring that you have the right amount of people to run the retail outlets.
Upon preparing for the next event you will assist to ensure that the logistics side of transporting the goods, people and everything else is ready to go and planned!
Once at the events it will be case of unloading, setting up the pop up shops and displaying the products ready for sale and finally engaging with the Customers!
You will be required to attend/stay at the events/festivals and dependent upon the location, this could be at their dedicated campsite areas (in tents) or a Hotel.
Hours
Standard Hours are 36 hours per week Monday to Friday (between 0800 – 1700) however when you attend/travel to events/festivals, overtime will be payable over 36 hours/time back in lieu based upon the event type.
Salary
An hourly pay rate of £12.36 is offered
The position is offered on a temporary to permanent basis
