A leading infrastructure contractor is looking for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their team in Wakefield.
The main objective of the role is to assist in the commercial delivery of a portfolio of works as part of a major regional water framework.
Key duties will include:
- Overseeing the procurement and management of subcontractor applications and payments.
- Producing and presenting monthly CVRs, advising on commercial influences and changes required to ensure profit targets are met.
- Developing and implementing changes to process where needed to improve project performance.
- Negotiating effectively both internally and at client level.
- Managing early warning and compensation event processes.
- Managing and supporting other commercial team members.

Candidate Requirements
- Our client is looking for Senior Quantity Surveyors looking for a career move. They are also keen to see experienced Quantity Surveyors looking for career progression.
- Minimum of 5+ years' commercial experience supporting the delivery of infrastructure or general civil engineering projects.
- Experience of and strong working understanding of NEC forms of contract.
- Proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, subcontractors and clients.
- Relevant quantity surveying or commercial management degree desirable.
