A leading infrastructure contractor is looking for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their team in Wakefield.

The main objective of the role is to assist in the commercial delivery of a portfolio of works as part of a major regional water framework.

Key duties will include:
  • Overseeing the procurement and management of subcontractor applications and payments.
  • Producing and presenting monthly CVRs, advising on commercial influences and changes required to ensure profit targets are met.
  • Developing and implementing changes to process where needed to improve project performance.
  • Negotiating effectively both internally and at client level.
  • Managing early warning and compensation event processes.
  • Managing and supporting other commercial team members.

  • Experience of and strong working understanding of NEC forms of contract.
  • Proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, subcontractors and clients.
  • Relevant quantity surveying or commercial management degree desirable.
