Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons in line with the National Curriculum.
- Provide a supportive and inclusive classroom environment, ensuring all students can access the curriculum and achieve their best.
- Use assessment data to track student progress and identify areas for improvement.
- Prepare Year 6 students for their SATs while making learning enjoyable and relevant.
- Foster a positive and respectful classroom culture, where students are encouraged to take responsibility for their learning.
- Collaborate with fellow teachers and support staff to ensure a cohesive and inclusive approach to teaching.
- Communicate effectively with parents and carers, offering feedback on student progress.
What We're Looking For:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
- Experience teaching in primary schools, particularly Year 6, is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of the National Curriculum and the ability to plan lessons effectively.
- Excellent classroom management skills and the ability to build positive relationships with students.
- Passion for supporting students' academic and personal growth, especially in preparation for secondary school.
- Strong communication skills, both with students and colleagues.
