Key Responsibilities:- Plan and deliver engaging and well-structured English lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4.
- Inspire and challenge students to develop their reading, writing, and analytical skills.
- Adapt teaching methods to support a diverse range of learners and abilities.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to maintain a positive and inclusive school environment.
- Contribute to the wider school community through extracurricular activities and enrichment opportunities.
- Hold QTS, a PGCE, or an equivalent teaching qualification.
- Have experience teaching English at the secondary level.
- Demonstrate strong subject knowledge and the ability to deliver engaging, student-centred lessons.
- Possess excellent classroom management skills and set high expectations for all students.
- Hold a DBS on the update service or be willing to obtain one.
