There is the possibility of additional hours above the 37 hour per week.
The support workers will need to:• Work a full rota of lates, early and weekends• Be medication trained and administer• Be LD experienced• Ideally have experience in complex health needs alsoIt is supported living for 6 adults with a learning disability and due to open at the end of April / May. We would want the staff for at least a week prior to opening for training and preparation.Essential training requirements -• Medication (including administering)• Manual handling (the role will require moving and handling people safely)• Adult protection awareness• Basic personal care and hygiene• Continence aids/catheter care• COSHH• Emergency first aid• Equality and diversity• Food hygiene• Nutrition and hydration• Infection controlThe regular shifts are as follows:Early - 07:30 to 15:00Late - 14:30 - 22:00Night - 21:45 - 07:45
