Allen & York are excited to be working with a leading consultancy, providing independent advice on environmental issues to the public and private sectors.

Our client is looking for a passionate Technical Director of Planning Services, responsible for the technical, operational, and strategic management of the planning department.

The successful candidate will also assist with company operational matters and business strategy whilst supporting other internal departments with technical and project management support and resources.

You'll need to hold a degree in a relevant subject area with significant experience of working in a managerial position in a similar practice area. With proven leadership and team building skills, you will be able to demonstrate your ability to fully manage a range of projects, including practical/field works and administrative management. An excellent communicator, you'll be computer literate and have experience of working with Quality Management Systems. A strong team player, you'll have first-rate interpersonal and organisational skills.

You will require a full, clean UK driving licence for this role.

Membership of RTPI and/or CIWM would be advantageous to this role.
