Location: Chepstow, NP16 6UP
Shift times: Monday to Friday 06:00 until 16:30
Pay Rate: 15.12 per hour

Manpower are currently looking for full-time, Class 2 Day Driver to join our national client at their site in Chepstow. This role is temp to perm for the ideal candidate.

About the role:

• Safely operate the delivery vehicle, adhering to business standards and protocols.
• Conduct thorough vehicle checks to ensure roadworthiness and compliance with VOSA regulations.
• Perform white goods deliveries, accompanied by a driver's mate.
• Home deliveries - transport items to the customer's room of choice, including carrying items to homes that may be several stories high.
• Kerbside deliveries - hand off items directly to individuals on building sites.
• Handle multidrop deliveries, with the number of stops varying daily.
• Use a hand held scanner and complete all necessary paperwork.
• Strong communication skills and a positive demeanour are required for direct interaction with customers.

Requirements:

• HGV 2 licence, Digital Tachograph Card, Driver Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC)
• No more than six penalty points on your licence and no DD, DR, IN or CD endorsements.
• Minimum 6 months Class 2 experience
• A valid CPC and Digital Tacho card.
• Multidrop delivery experience.
• Excellent knowledge of the UK road network.
• A can-do attitude.
