Accountant/Financial Controller - Beaconsfield

Our client is a leading multi branch independent firm of estate agents based in South Bucks who are looking for an experienced Accountant/Financial Controller to work alongside the MD.

Day-to-day of the role:

Develop Financial Planning & Analyst capability to track and report on financial performance.Produce annual financial statements and accounts, ensuring compliance with best financial practices and a clean audit report.Deal with Profit and Loss and report on actuals.VAT Returns Produce consolidated Monthly Management Accounts Maintain weekly Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable, cash, and bank reconciliations.Preparation of budgets and forecasts and monitor them continuously.Assisting with Payroll processes and HMRC queries Continuously improve and maintain end-to-end financial processes.Experience in Letting Accounts is desirable Ensure tenant payment details comply with the Direct Debit Guarantee Scheme.Manage deposit returns Process relevant payments as required.Monitor outstanding rent amounts and chase rent arrears.Investigate and resolve lettings accounts queries.Dealing with new tenancy details

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Preferably with experience in Real Estate development is desirable

Strong Excel skills for data manipulation, reports, graphs/charts, and business cases.Strong systems experience or knowledge of using Xero .Excellent presentation skills.A desire to learn and grow within the company. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
