Our client, a construction company based in Beaconsfield, is looking for an experienced Accountant to join their small team.

We're looking for a qualified Accountant but also someone who is happy to carry out general accounts admin tasks too, with a proactive nature.

The role is full time office based.

The successful candidate will have experience in a similar role and have experience of using Xero.

Duties include

  • Publishing Invoices for approval
  • Matching invoices to purchase orders and raising purchase orders
  • Matching invoices to supplier statements
  • Creating contacts in Xero and adding their information
  • Setting up Budgets
  • Reporting against Budgets and analysis
  • Cashflow forecasts
  • VAT returns
  • Managing Pension Scheme
  • Bank Reconciliations
  • Credit Card Reconciliations
  • Liaising with staff to ensure we have invoices for their purchases
  • Obtaining Bank funding and managing this process from start to end
  • Set up new Limited Companies as needed
  • Apply for VAT status when needed for new companies
  • Efficient tax planning
  • End of year accounts and all other compliance required for multiple companies and personal tax returns
  • Monthly management accounts
  • Raising Invoices
  • Inputting payments onto Barclays for authorisation
  • Payments to HMRC for Paye and CIS
