Audit and Accounts Senior (Accountancy Firm)

Location: Beaconsfield, Buckinghamshire

Our client, a well-established firm of chartered accountants, is looking for a skilled Audit and Accounts senior to join their dynamic team. You will be responsible for delivering precise audit and accountancy services with the support of a collaborative team.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead audits from planning to completion, liaising with clients and colleagues.
  • Prepare and submit statutory accounts and corporation tax returns.
  • Contribute to the firm's growth by retaining existing clients and attracting new prospects.
  • Preparing and submitting statutory accounts, encompassing FRS 102, Groups, Limited Companies, and LLP Accounts.
  • Completing and submitting corporation tax returns.
  • Mentor junior colleagues, ensuring high-quality service delivery.
  • Maintain up-to-date technical knowledge and engage with industry guidelines.
  • Efficiently manage assignments and maintain client relationships

Requirements: 

  • At least 3 years' accountancy practice experience in Audit & Accounts
  • Have experience working in a senior role in audit and accounts.
  • Expertise in audit with a keen eye for detail.
  • Well-versed in IT tools, including Excel and audit/accounts packages.
  • Part-qualified candidates may be considered based on experience.
