Role Overview

The Junior Interior Designer will support the Head of Design on a variety of commercial furniture projects, contributing to technical drawings, 3D renders, and material selection. This role involves client interaction, creative problem-solving, and staying at the forefront of emerging trends in interior design.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist the Head of Design on diverse commercial design projects.
  • Collaborate with clients to assess project costs and technical requirements.
  • Prepare detailed technical drawings, 3D renders, and presentation boards.
  • Support in the selection of finishes, materials, and FF&E.
  • Research and implement emerging design trends and techniques.
  • Engage in product modelling and perform additional tasks as required.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Degree in interior design with experience in commercial interior projects.
  • Proficient in AutoCAD, Photoshop, SketchUp, and rendering tools (e.g., Vectorworks, Blender, or Twinmotion).
  • Strong conceptual design and presentation skills.
  • Sketching ability is an advantage.
  • Highly organised with the ability to multitask effectively.
