Supply Desk is looking for a dedicated and compassionate Teaching Assistant to join a supportive and inclusive secondary school in Beaconsfield. As a Teaching Assistant, you will play an integral part in helping students achieve their academic potential, especially those with additional learning needs. Key Responsibilities:
- Support students within the classroom, assisting with tasks and providing 1:1 or small group support.
- Help deliver differentiated lessons, ensuring all students have access to the curriculum.
- Encourage and motivate students to engage fully in their learning and reach their potential.
- Support students with special educational needs (SEN), providing tailored assistance where necessary.
- Help to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Assist with administrative tasks such as preparing learning materials and marking when required.
- Foster positive relationships with students, staff, and parents, contributing to a supportive school community.
Ideal Candidate:
- Experience working with children or young people, particularly in an educational setting.
- A passion for supporting students and helping them succeed.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team.
- Patience, empathy, and a proactive attitude toward student development.
- Experience working with SEN students is desirable but not essential.
- A desire to learn and develop within an educational environment.
