Key Responsibilities:

  • Support students within the classroom, assisting with tasks and providing 1:1 or small group support.
  • Help deliver differentiated lessons, ensuring all students have access to the curriculum.
  • Encourage and motivate students to engage fully in their learning and reach their potential.
  • Support students with special educational needs (SEN), providing tailored assistance where necessary.
  • Help to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Assist with administrative tasks such as preparing learning materials and marking when required.
  • Foster positive relationships with students, staff, and parents, contributing to a supportive school community.

Ideal Candidate:

  • Experience working with children or young people, particularly in an educational setting.
  • A passion for supporting students and helping them succeed.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team.
  • Patience, empathy, and a proactive attitude toward student development.
  • Experience working with SEN students is desirable but not essential.
  • A desire to learn and develop within an educational environment.
